Events Setup

This guide covers how a service provider creates, schedules, and publishes events for booking.

Before you begin

  • Sign in with a practice-admin account.
  • Have at least one service option ready (name, duration, price).
  • Optional: prepare payment terms and a waiver template.

Create an event

  1. Open /business/events.
  2. Select New event.
  3. Enter the event name, description, and location details.
  4. Choose the event type (lesson day, clinic, or workshop).
  5. Set the schedule start and end times.
  6. Add the service options and pricing that should be bookable.
  7. Add payment terms if clients must accept conditions before booking.
  8. Select a waiver template if one is required for this event.
  9. Save the event and set it to Active.

Add time slots

  1. Open the event.
  2. Select Add slot to create lesson times within the schedule window.
  3. Use Add booking to place a client directly into a time slot when needed.
  4. Review the time slot table to see Time slot, Duration, Client, Horse, and Status.

Manage availability

  • Requested and confirmed slots are blocked from being booked again.
  • Update the schedule window if you need to expand or reduce availability.
  • Deactivate the event to hide it from the public profile.

Tips

  • Keep payment terms aligned with your reschedule and cancellation policy.
  • If waivers are required, confirm the template is current before publishing.
