Booking Requests and Changes

This guide covers how service providers review booking requests, approve or decline them, and handle change requests.

Where to manage bookings

  • Use /business/appointments for booking requests and upcoming sessions.
  • Use /business/events to review event-level slots and statuses.

Review new booking requests

  1. Open /business/appointments.
  2. In Event booking requests, review the requested time, service option, and client.
  3. Select Approve & send link to send the payment link, or Decline to reject the request.
  4. Approved requests can resend the payment link if needed.

Confirmed bookings

  • Confirmed bookings appear in the event slot table and on the client profile.
  • If payment is required, use the payment link in the request card.

Cancellation requests

  • Client cancellation requests appear with a status like cancel_requested.
  • Review the request, contact the client if needed, and update the booking details.
  • Apply your payment terms when calculating refunds.

Reschedule requests

  • Client reschedule requests appear with a status like reschedule_requested.
  • Use the booking details page to move the booking to an available slot.
  • If additional payment is required, send a new payment link.

Waiver requirements

  • If the event requires a waiver and the client has not signed one, a waiver link is sent automatically.
  • Reminder scheduling is handled by the system; follow up if it remains unsigned.

Tips

  • Keep payment terms clear so clients understand cancellation and reschedule rules.
  • Use the event slot table to confirm availability before moving bookings.
